Tim is a 34 year old (*1977) US entrepreneur, angel investor and author, obsessed with sports and performance. Raised in East Hampton, NY, he graduated from St. Pauls School. He later attended Princeton University, where he received a degree in East Asian Studies in 2000.

He founded his first company in 2001, an online based nutrition supplements supplier, that later became BrainQUICKEN. The company was sold in 2009. Since then he builds his own brand Tim Ferriss and his 4-Hour empire.

Tim has a scary accurate radar for investments and was able to invest in companies like Twitter, Posterous, DailyBurn, Reputation Defender, Foodzie, Badongo, RescueTime and SimpleGeo. He is also known to be an advisor for equity to Stumble Upon and Shopify.
